Canine Physical Well Being Workshop
Pawsitive Strides is excited to announce a 2 day workshop presented by Kristin Wolter, CVT, CCRA that will give you the skills needed to monitor your dog’s physical well being. Day one will consist of lecture and demonstration of general assessment of a dog’s musculoskeletal system. Day two will consist of hands on, step by step assessment of your own dog followed with techniques and exercises to help alleviate pain/tension/stiffness. This class is not intended to be used to treat or diagnose injury.
· Appropriate body weight
· Front leg range of motion and flexibility
· Rear leg range of motion and flexibility
· Back/Neck mobility/flexibility
· Strength and coordination
· Appropriate exercise routines and strengthening exercises
· Ideal for senior dogs
Class limited to 8 enrollees. One dog per enrollee.
This is an on-the-floor class that will require getting up and down and being on the floor with your dog. Dog friendly dogs only. Leashes required. Proof of vaccine or vaccine titer required.
